This is the epigraph for Tangled Roots, my new release and Book 2 in the Secrets in Casten’s Horn series. Charlotte has moved to Casten’s Horn and her investigations continue, this time spurred by buried bones discovered in the backyard at Moody’s B&B. Set in the days leading up to Halloween, readers can expect a cozy-but-spooky, atmospheric tale that – just like Book 1 – delves into the past but contains a present-day danger.

I’m tremendously proud of this book. There seems to be a sense of peace that comes as a writer when you finally get it right. In past blog posts, I’ve talked about my experience writing Tangled Roots and some of the research behind elements in the book. There’s a lot more to share in the coming days as well.
